Papillo Hotel Roma Worst hotel on the planet! I have stayed in many hotels in my life but one is as bad as it gets! Firstly, the rooms are very average, the shower leaked all over the floor in my bathroom and the windows were broken, the air-conditioner does not even cool the already stuffy room. The breakfast appalling: everything is stale and almost inedible. The attending staff are rude and disrespectful. The lifts are slow and tiny. The hotel is about an hour from Rome and Public Transport is a combination of both bus and a train to get into the city. Taxi to Rome costs between €30 and €60 depending on traffic and attitude of driver. There is no cafe or restaurant available anywhere around the hotel to eat at. It is essentially in a business park. There is a supermarket next door and an electronics store. There is a busy freeway right next door. My advice and the advice of 30 others in our group: avoid this hotel!

Facilities were comfortable. Was on a group trip so we spent very little time at the hotel but location was convenient and facilities were above average based on my limited experience in Italy. Would recommend the facility

Our flight was cancelled at the last minute and we were sent to this hotel until our new flight the next day. The staff made us feel welcome, the hotel was clean and modern. Thank you for making a bad situation better.

I recently stayed at Papillo and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. Firstly, we were charged for damages to the room that we did not cause, which left a sour taste in our mouths. We were extremely upset about this and found it to be completely unjustified. Moreover, the air conditioning in the room was poor and did not work well, which made it very difficult to regulate the temperature and led to an uncomfortable stay. Additionally, the windows were broken and did not close properly, allowing noise and unwanted drafts to come in. The state of the bathrooms was also a major letdown. The showers had mold and mildew, which made for an unsanitary and uncomfortable experience. It was clear that the bathrooms had not been properly cleaned or maintained for quite some time. Lastly, the variety and quality of the food provided was very poor. There was very little variety in the meals, and the quality of the food was subpar. We found ourselves disappointed with each meal. Overall, our stay at Papillo was extremely disappointing, and we do not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The unjustified charges, poor air conditioning, broken windows, unsanitary bathrooms, and poor food quality all contributed to a subpar experience. We suggest looking elsewhere for accommodation.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Firstly, the water in my room was ice-cold and it took ages to heat up. Additionally, I was unable to properly close the door to my room as it did not lock. I felt quite insecure and vulnerable. The showers in the hotel were also terrible. They were too small and I had trouble washing myself. Furthermore, the holder of the faucet came loose from the wall while showering, which could be potentially dangerous. It was not only uncomfortable but also potentially hazardous. As for the windows in my room, they did not open and then did not close properly. This meant that my room was freezing cold all night and I had trouble sleeping. I felt uncomfortable and uneasy in the hotel. Finally, the food at the hotel was very basic and thoroughly English, which I found disappointing and unappetizing. It was clear that not much effort was put into catering to the taste buds of different guests. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was uncomfortable, unsafe, and unwelcoming. Something needs to change urgently.
